Elizabeth M. Maldonado, LGSW (She/They)

"Entering the therapy world can be scary and stressful, my goal is to make the process of healing as enjoyable as possible.

Life is hard, so I believe therapy doesn't have to be. Working to make positive changes in your life doesn't have to be full of fear and dread, we can work from a point of positivity, humor, and creativity to make a huge impact. During my career, I've strived to make dealing with the difficult as smooth and painless as possible. Empowerment and no-nonsense approach are my favorite places to begin to build. I enjoy working with clients on boundary setting, healthy communication, and building the life you've always wanted but have not been able to attain.

I have done additional training on trauma and its effects on the mind, body, and spirit. I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds but do have increased knowledge around the LGBTQ+ community and the needs within.

My personal goals are to change the stereotype of what a therapist is, my approach is my own and I find that it works well with creating an open dialogue and making really positive steps towards health and healing. I look forward to meeting new clients, and starting the journey towards growth!"
